MANCHESTER PROJECT CHAMPIONS ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Salford-based refugee and asylum seeker support organisation, Warm Hut UK, has helped over 400 individuals across Greater Manchester access fuel efficiency and income maximisation advice through its latest initiative, Coldwise, thanks to a £28,534 funding boost from the ScottishPower Energy People Trust.

STV CHILDREN’S APPEAL AND SCOTTISHPOWER ENERGY PEOPLE TRUST HELP FAMILIES FACING FUEL POVERTY

The Capsule Fuel Poverty Project is funded by a £50,000 investment from the ScottishPower Energy People Trust and delivered by STV Children’s Appeal with four charity partners in Edinburgh, Falkirk, Renfrewshire and Ayrshire. The unique initiative is created to provide support to low income families who face the challenges of living with fuel poverty to the detriment of their health and well-being, aiming to deliver long-term benefit and sustainable change.
