The Tackling Fuel Poverty with People in Crisis project will develop a new community-led energy advice service, targeting people accessing Cardiff Foodbank, delivered in partnership with a network of local advice and support agencies. By providing 1-1 energy advice sessions at three Foodbank food distribution centres across Cardiff, ACE will engage with people in food poverty who are also often vulnerable to fuel poverty. This aim is to help clients better manage energy costs and reduce levels of fuel poverty. This in turn will lead to a wide range of positive health and well-being outcomes for some of the most vulnerable people in Cardiff.
