SLH have already established an in house Affordable Living Service to support tenants on extremely low incomes in fuel poverty by providing energy advice and education. The Affordable living for all project will employ an additional advisor to integrate with the existing service to provide this support to people in private homes. The aim of the project is to maximise the income of vulnerable customers, improve energy efficiency within the home and educate customers to consume energy more wisely going forward.
