The project will employ a Home Energy Advice Worker to visit vulnerable and excluded households and conduct a home energy assessment. The Housing Disrepair Adviser to take on and pursue disrepair issues that landlords are not actioning. To support the promotion and take up we will run a series of workshops at partner locations such as GPs Surgeries and Children's Centres to be able to target our chosen groups. The project will meet the aims and objectives of the Trust by alleviating fuel poverty, dealing with arrears, reducing consumption by homes, getting the best tariffs in place and increasing the disposable income of clients as a result. Our experience of delivering holistic advice and support will add options for referring people into other services and meeting the needs of the clients as a whole.
