By providing energy efficiency advice and fuel debt assistance across 8 Children's centres in Blackpool the project aims to help families with low incomes become more fuel efficient and manage their budgets more effectively. An outreach adviser will offer weekly fuel debt assistance drop-in sessions, advice will be delivered face-to-face with clients at the centres, covering debt advice, dealing with fuel bill arrears, accessing financial support towards energy bills, household budgeting, benefit health checks and income maximisation.
