Carers of East Lothian is proposing a 3 year project to support adult carers to maximise their income and achieve a sustainable reduction in fuel poverty. The project will employ a Fuel Poverty worker to offer advice on energy efficiency, support and a better understanding of bills/tariffs, run training courses on income maximisation checks and advise on availability of energy efficiency grants and care package options.
