Community Links, Staying on Top project seeks to employ a full time specialist fuel awareness advisor to provide information and advice on fuel poverty and make referrals for specialist welfare benefits and debt advice. The advisor will help to address their fuel poverty issues, negotiate with creditors, investigate any anomalies in bills and apply for grants where appropriate. The project will help move people out of debt by maximising their income, empowering them to deal with their fuel debt issues and advising them about energy efficiency measures.
