The EDAS Foundation – Fuel Hardship project will work towards affordable warmth through income generation and energy efficiency providing a more long-term solution to fuel poverty. Amongst the target groups the project will aim to have a lasting impact on fuel poverty which these groups face. They will do this through enlightening and providing to those they work with, with various opportunities which would enable them to achieve affordable warmth. Their work will focus on families with young children and vulnerable young people who spend more than 10% on energy bills. The service will educate vulnerable households on how to become increasingly energy efficient so that they can take up necessary and relevant measures that will improve home energy efficiency.
