Following an increase in the number of enquiries to Greater Pollock CAB, they are requesting funding for one full time worker to develop a two year Fuel Poverty Awareness Project. The project will target vulnerable households within the area, including families with young children and single adults, to deliver a comprehensive income maximisation service. The service will include identifying and supporting clients to claim all the benefits they are entitled to, energy efficiency grants and provide energy efficiency advice. The project will forge links with local organisations to generate awareness of and referrals to the project.
