The project will employ 1.5 trained Fuel Poverty caseworkers (qualified energy efficiency advisers) and a cohort of 6 diverse volunteers who will all work in a coordinated manner to improve the take up of fuel poverty initiatives by some of the most excluded groups living in the ward. The team will drop leaflets in designated streets, followed up by knocking on doors to talk with residents, arrange home visits, give telephone advice or offer appointments for residents to attend appointments at HEAT offices.
