Families who go into refuge are on very low incomes and Inverness Women’s Aid anticipate that 30 families will be re-housed over the next 3 years. This project aims to provide energy efficient cookers, washing machines and fridge freezers to families who have been allocated their own tenancies after leaving their homes due to domestic abuse and to alleviate hardship and educate on energy efficiency to low-income families.
