The Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN) is requesting funding for their Benefits and Energy Efficiency Advice for Refugees Project. The Project will provide one full time worker to deliver a range of income maximisation services and energy efficiency information sessions, supported by volunteers, in the refugees language. The worker will deliver advice through 1-2-1 appointments and presentations to community groups. This project aims to continue and develop the current projected funded by United Utilities Trust, which comes to an end in April 2009.
