One parent families are requesting funding for their Family Power Project which will run for two years. The project seeks to provide a range of services to empower their clients to manage their fuel bills effectively. The funding will fund two part time rights workers who will prepare fact sheets for families, educational packs for children and personal development sessions for parents on how to manage their energy more effectively. The workers will then deliver the training sessions to local One parent families across Scotland to ensure that information can be delivered through the local one Parent family offices. In addition the project funding will provide a small amount of crisis funding to avoid families energy supply being disconnected.
