The project worker will provide benefit checks, assist with benefit applications or reviews to maximise income, budgeting and debt advice, check fuel bills, negotiate with fuel suppliers to manage or reduce fuel debt, assist with applications for grants to pay off fuel arrears, assist with grant applications for new white goods, information and help with applications to energy assistance schemes, help with energy price comparison and switching, energy efficiency advice and information. Advice will be available through the bureau in Perth, by home visit, at outreach venues and through referral by other local organisations.
