Peterborough Environment City Trust are requesting funding to run the Warm Homes Peterborough Project for two years. The project will aim to alleviate fuel poverty amongst social tenants in the area by providing a comprehensive income maximisation service that will provide access to energy efficiency advice and measures through the provision of ‘Energy Packs’, and signposting to relevant benefits. The delivery of the project will take place via a range of channels, 1-2-1 advice sessions, community events a telephone advice line or Energy Champions within the area. In addition the project will target social landlords to educate them about the need for home insulation and highlight alternative heating sources.
