The project will promote energy efficiency to the people who are regarded as some of the most disadvantaged in the community and also the hardest to reach. These include people with disabilities, young people who are, or are at risk of being, homeless, families experiencing poverty and exclusion and carers. Quarriers staff are known and trusted by people in these groups and are therefore able to deliver knowledge and understanding on energy efficiency. This will enable the most vulnerable and difficult to reach people in the community to tackle fuel poverty.
