Shap - A Place of Your Own

Shap’s project works with young people setting up home for the first time and vulnerable households needing support, along with people in housing need or who are homeless. They currently operate a scheme to introduce young people aged 16 to 30 to the reality of living independently, which they wish to expand as they are experiencing increasing demand for the course as it becomes more widely known. The course covers all the elements of household management with an emphasis on fuel management and energy efficiency.
