The Advicepoint project will also offer one off Fuel Poverty training sessions to community groups, mother and toddler meetings, and the tenancy support group for single tenants. A combination of Income maximization, advice in energy efficiency and EDUCATION in how to manage a households fuel usage and source will help people to NOT fall into or GET out of fuel poverty. Every client 25 years and under will be offered a free reduce fuel poverty check-up, our aim is to empower young people and single parents to be confident and have the knowledge of their own fuel management plan. There is a desperate need to educate young single parents and single person how to get out of fuel poverty.
