Suffolk ‘Switched On’ is a new initiative to deliver a coaching and mentoring service using trained volunteers. The aim of the project is to help improve the skills and confidence of vulnerable people in or near fuel poverty to manage their finances and understand and better manage their fuel consumption. This will be achieved recruiting suitable volunteers who will visit groups within their locality such as mother and toddler groups, senior citizen clubs, 6 HUB centres and other community events and organisations.; planning and running Fuel Poverty Roadshows across Suffolk.
