Wealden CAB propose to recruit a Fuel Poverty Income Maximisation Worker on a part-time basis (3 days per week) who will identify and support families and elderly people in the Wealden district of East Sussex who are suffering with fuel poverty. The Fuel Poverty Worker will run benefit checks (to maximise income), give debt advice for their utility debts, help clients apply for grants, special fuel tariffs and refer them to relevant organisations who can help with fuel efficiency measures.
