The project will work to reduce fuel poverty in the households of hard to reach young adults.and will offer holistic support when young people get their first home. The project will also help the individual to 'make the most' of the property they have, with funding and support to get portable heaters, thick curtains, rugs, blankets and draught-excluders. The project will also offer support to young people experiencing street homelessness by providing sleeping bags and warm clothes so they may stay warm on the street. In addition to this work the dedicated project worker will also administer an emergency fuel fund to individuals who are struggling.
